Fairfield University is hosting Kids Day Out, an annual event that welcomes school groups to campus for a women’s basketball game and a chance to meet university mascot Lucas the Stag.
Most area schools are closed, but the 11 a.m. game against Monmouth University is still going on and admission is free for anyone who would like to attend.
